Join us for this celebratory concert which brings together famous classical works for orchestra and the stage in a rousing festival finale.

We are delighted to have a line-up of Barnes celebrity residents including poet Roger McGough CBE and festival Patron Howard Goodall CBE, who will both be speaking and performing original material alongside guest soloist Sebastian-Benedict Flore, a rising star pianist.. The evening spotlights two iconic 20th century works - Copland’s Appalachian Spring and Gershwin's jazz-influenced Rhapsody in Blue.  Other pieces in the evening include Ivor Novello Award winning The Victorian Kitchen Garden Suite by Paul Reade and songs by Howard Goodall and Andrzej Panufnik.

The evening will be a rousing finish to the 37-event music festival. Champagne will be served and a dress code of black tie encouraged. We look foward to welcoming you to finishing the festival in style.
